Somebody Else’s Beef Stroganoff
I love things that end in Stroganoff. I have a pretty simple hamburger Stroganoff recipe that nobody will mistake for haute cuisine but is delicious and comforting. Since the moment on Christmas day when I cracked open Cinnamon Cooper’s Everything Cast-Iron cookbook, I knew it was only a matter of time until I’d be forced to try her beef Stroganoff recipe. I must say, it’s wonderful to be able to brown your meat, add some mushrooms, onions and sauce ingredients, and then pop the whole thing in the oven for a while. Cast iron is magical stuff.

I generally don’t recommend cookbooks now that it’s the future and you can find a recipe for pretty much anything on the internet, but this recipe alone pretty much justifies acquiring the book, as well as a cabinet full of cast iron.
